Who we are

We owned restaurants before we built software. We know what your Sunday 5pm looks like. Three callouts, the POS down again, a delivery driver yelling because the side door is locked. We tried every tool on the market. None of them worked the way we needed.

So we hired a security expert and built the system we always wanted to have.

Gid is not perfect today. We'll tell you what's missing. But what we have already addresses the real operational chaos of running a restaurant better than anything else out there, and we ship something every single day. No stops. No compromises. Until every team has a system that just works, without friction.

We're a small team. That's not a footnote, it's how we move. We can ship in a week what legacy vendors take a year to release. The whole point of Gid is that the people building it have actually wiped tables on a Saturday night.

How we work

  • We ship every day. You can see the changelog whenever you want.
  • We don't pretend to know your restaurant. We ask you, and we listen.
  • When something breaks, we tell you the same day. Not in a quarterly newsletter.
  • We charge per location, not per user. Adding more team members never raises your bill.
  • We don't sell your data. Not now. Not ever. Multi-tenant isolation is built into the architecture, not bolted on.

The Founders Program

We're capping our Founders Program at 500 restaurants in North America (250 in India). Not because we can't take more, but because we want every founder to have a direct line to the team and a real say in the roadmap. After 500, the price ramps up and the access ramps down. Founders rate stays locked, lifetime, for as long as the subscription stays active.

Founders get the email of the founder, a Slack/WhatsApp channel with the rest of the early operators, one feature request guaranteed on the roadmap review, and a lifetime Founders badge in-app.
